"To give a child a CASA is to give them a voice.
To give them a voice is to give them hope.
And to give them hope is to give them the world.
I believe that with all my heart."

Advocacy-Related Assistance

Professional Development

Voices provides staff and volunteers continuing education opportunities to improve our advocacy. Professionals who can assist in staff and volunteer development efforts through training or consulting are always needed – and appreciated.

We seek expertise and resources in areas related to our advocacy for children and youth from birth through their 21st birthday. Training areas that can help us improve our practice include child development, education especially special education (through college), college access, health and mental health, substance abuse, youth development, cultural competency, conflict management, etc.

Continuing Legal Education

Our attorneys are required to complete 15 hours of continuing legal education (CLE) annually. Opportunities for our attorneys to access relevant CLE-eligible training at no or low cost are very much appreciated.

For more information about training or consulting on advocacy related topics, call Cheryl Latham, CASA Program Manager at 314.552.2121 or go to Get Info on Volunteering
